Brookville Biscuits & Brunch, opened in September 2021, is the culmination of Harrison Keevil’s journey through food, community, and a love for bringing smiles to people’s faces.
Head chef Keevil comes from humble roots. A Goochland County native who grew up on a farm, Keevil has known the value and meaning of hard work since day one. Keevil graduated from UVA in 2005 with a degree in Western European Foreign Affairs which brought him to London as a research assistant for a Member of Parliament. Inspired by the vibrant culinary scene there, Keevil’s passion for food ignited.
He came back to Charlottesville and founded the beloved Brookville restaurant in downtown Charlottesville, known for its unforgettable brunch. After running the restaurant from 2010-2016, he pivoted to establish Keevil & Keevil Grocery in Belmont until 2021. When the pandemic hit, he launched Multiverse Kitchens, a ghost kitchen, as a creative response to the changing times. In 2024, he started to solely focus on Brookville Biscuits & Brunch, paying homage to where his journey began, bringing the best of his original vision back to life.
Brookville Biscuits & Brunch spotlights Keevil’s passion for cooking, blending the warm, family-oriented atmosphere of his Goochland roots with a menu that highlights Virginia’s local produce. The brunch offerings pay homage to the flavors and traditions that made the original Brookville a community favorite.
